The question many ask is, "How do I know when I'm ready for Botox?" This question is hard to answer, similarly to answering the question "How do I know if I’m ready to get married?" or "How do I know if I’m ready to be a parent?" The answer is different for every single person and unfortunately cannot be answered with a straightforward number.
You have to decide for yourself if and when you’re ready for botox. While botox is as not as life changing as getting married (although some may argue botox is actually life-changing!), no one can tell you if you’re ready. You have to feel it!
Those who undergo plastic surgery or injectables because someone else has told them to almost always end up dissatisfied because the patient did not actually feel good going into the procedure. While botox is a fairly simple treatment with a few injections here and there to relax the muscle to smooth away wrinkles and give the face a lift - it still is something that you have to feel good about doing! If you are seeking any treatment or life choice because of pressure from others, you will never fully enjoy the treatment - and botox is so fun you should always enjoy a little neuromodulator session!
If you are feeling like you’d like a little pick up for the face - a subtle yet effective pick up, than botox is absolutely for you. If you look in the mirror and imagine your forehead with perhaps one less line or two, give botox a try! One of the perks of botox is that the body will eventually metabolize it so if you change your mind at any point- no problem! Just let it fade away.
On the opposite side of the coin, if you are ready for botox and others are trying to dissuade you from getting the treatment, ask yourself why! If you’re excited about a treatment, whether it be an injectable or even a manicure, and someone is trying to convince you not to do something you're excited about, ask that person why. If you’re ready and excited about something, don’t let the voice of disapproving others take that little fun away from you!
Similarly to getting married, botox is a personal choice - one only you can make for yourself!
